Why a monthly rate rather than a daily one
Site lighting is not a one-night product. If you need light for a night pour, you generally need it for the whole pouring programme, and the programme moves.
A monthly rate means the schedule slipping by a week does not turn into a pricing conversation. You know the number for the month, and you can budget the whole job from it.
What Is Inside the Monthly Rate
For RM 3,500 a month, per tower, you get:
- The complete unit β 8 m telescopic mast, four 500 W lamps, silent diesel generator, trailer, hitch, winch and outriggers
- Delivery to your site, arranged as part of the hire
- Set-up on arrival β the unit is positioned and stood up on its outriggers, not dropped at the gate

Fuel

The operator's routine checks
Daily fluid and lamp checks are site-side, and they take a couple of minutes. Anything beyond that is ours.
Damage outside fair wear
Normal site use is expected and covered. A mast dropped onto a slab is not, and that will be handled case by case rather than pretended away in the quote.

The length of the hire
Monthly pricing rewards continuity. A four-month booking is administratively simpler than four one-month bookings, and it is worth telling us the real programme length up front.
Where the site is
Delivery is arranged as part of the hire, but distance is real. A site in Kuala Lumpur and a site in Bintulu are not the same logistics problem, and we confirm the arrangement per enquiry rather than publishing a table that would be wrong half the time.
How to Sanity-Check a Competing Quote
Before you compare two numbers, make them describe the same thing. Ask each supplier:
- Is the rate daily, weekly or monthly, and what is the minimum hire?
- Is delivery in the number, or added later?
- Is set-up on site included, or is the unit left at the gate?
- What is the mast height and lamp configuration? A 6 m mast and an 8 m mast do not cover the same ground.
- What happens if the unit fails at 2 a.m.? The answer to this is the whole difference between a cheap quote and a working site.
Once all five answers are on paper, the quotes usually converge a lot more than the headline numbers suggested.
